This one was a lot of fun and quite the challenge at the same time. I owe the inspiration for the piece to the client that commissioned it, a Mr. James Brown from Australia.
The original request was for three Star Wars cards, each one with stand alone images that would still tie in too one unifying piece. He was careful to point out that everything else was up to me, characters, composition, everything, believing that granting me creative freedom would allow me to produce the best work.
All I can say is when somebody tosses me the ball, I run with it.
